A brand new series of hit comedy show Two Doors Down dropped on the BBC on Wednesday night (November 9), and viewers all complained about the same thing.
The show saw the return of iconic characters like Beth (Arabella Weir), Christine (Elaine C Smith), and Eric (Alex Norton). However, there was one famous face missing from the armchair, and many fans were unhappy about this revelation.
Doon Mackichan quit her role as boozy neighbour Cathy earlier this year, and fans were distraught at the time when she announced the news. Show bosses confirmed in August that the actress will not appear when the sitcom returns, after she decided to move on to other projects.

And as the first episode aired last night, it was one missing piece of the Two Doors Down puzzle that many were missing. One Twitter user wrote: "What! There's no Cathy? She made the show."
Another said: "Colin is a broken man without Cathy."
And a third wrote: "Episode one and I already miss Cathy #TwoDoorsDown."
More comments read: "Cathy will definitely be missed by always hopeful she’ll come back next series!"
Others said: "Not sure Two Doors Down will be the same with no Cathy."
Another added: "Two Doors Down back tonight.
"Wonder what it’ll be like without Cathy… I’d love to see Christine and Colin take to Tinder or Plenty of Fish."
And finally, one concluded: "Cathy, we will miss you dearly. You were a fantastic character. But #TwoDoorsDown is still my favourite thing on TV! Best ensemble cast ever!"
You can watch the entire new series of Two Doors Down right now on BBC iPlayer.
