Two dog food manufacturers have issued product recalls in August following reports of contamination risks involving canned and raw dog food products. On August 21, 2026, Fromm Family Foods LLC recalled two varieties of its wet canned dog food because of potential metal contamination. The announcement came four days after Oma’s Pride recalled a lot of its raw canine food due to potential Salmonella contamination, with three dog illnesses reported in connection with the recall.
