Two women dead after alleged car theft and pursuit

Police have branded the actions of a man who allegedly crashed into another car, killing two women, as the most reckless and dangerous driving they have seen in years.

A 31-year-old man was expected to face "significant and substantial charges" over the fatal crash, Assistant Commissioner Brett McFadden said.
