Two charged after ‘incredibly well-liked’ teen dies in crash

  • A 13-year-old boy, Noah Campbell, died following a collision involving a car, a bike, and a scooter in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, on Friday night.
  • Two other teenage boys sustained serious injuries in the incident, with one remaining in hospital and the other having been discharged.
  • Noah's family paid tribute, describing him as "fun, bright, handsome, athletic and incredibly well-liked", and expressed their devastation at his loss.
  • Jamie Fountain, 24, has been charged with causing death by careless driving, including while over the legal limit for alcohol and drugs, and two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving.
  • Fountain also faces charges for failing to stop, failing to report an accident, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, while Ellie Ireland, 23, is charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
