Shocking footage has emerged of the incident which shows a number of young men on top of a bus stop above revellers partying in the city's Trongate on May 28.

Four fans can be seen with their arms linked as they chant to the crowd and jump up and down on the shelter. Moments later the end of the roof can be seen giving way underneath them and collapses, sending two youths crashing down onto the pavement.

Thousands of Celtic fans gathered at Glasgow Cross on Saturday, May 28, following their side's 5-0 victory against Aberdeen to celebrate their second league title in a row.

Police Scotland has since gone on to criticise the 'unacceptable level of anti-social behaviour and incidents of disorder' across the weekend.

Three men were rushed to hospital after being seriously assaulted at the title party, and a further 18 people sustained minor injuries, 'mainly due to intoxication.'

Police confirmed that 10 people were arrested for a number of other offences, including assault, acts of public disorder and police assault, but no police officers were injured. A further eight people were issued with fixed penalty notices.

A spokesperson said enquiries into all the alleged incidents were ongoing.
