Two Brit tourists seriously injured after 'attack by Magaluf bouncer'

A bouncer has reportedly been arrested in Majorcan party town Magaluf after attacking two British tourists, leaving them injured.

Both of the Brits needed hospital treatment after the incident on the Spanish island, the Sun has reported, with stitches for head wounds being required.

Reports on Saturday said that one of the Brits needed stitches for blows to the head and face while the other, a man, had a severe wound inflicted above one eye.

The Majorca Daily Bulletin said that the second wounded Brit was seen “bleeding profusely from a wound above the eye”.

“There is concern that he could lose some vision,” the write up added.

Calvia Police made the arrest after interviewing witnesses and on Saturday it is understood that officers are going through CCTV footage before deciding whether to press charges.
