Popular ITV show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here is set to return home to Australia this year after two years in North Wales. The show was forced to take a break from filming down under due to Coronavirus restrictions in place at the time.
However, earlier this year award winning hosts Ant and Dec confirmed that the show would be returning down under this year. Now two updates on the show have been realised and despite the familiar home the show will be very different.
The show has been broadcast live in November since it first aired on ITV back in 2002. Now The Mirror are reporting that this year the show is set to be pre-recorded.

It is being reported that the show will be filmed in July for just two weeks. The results of the show will then be kept under wraps until it is then broadcast on ITV in November.
An insider told The Mirror: "This is a brilliant reserve plan in case Covid restrictions come round again in the Autumn and the cast and crew can’t get Down Under, as has happened for the past two years."
But that is not where I'm A Celebrity 2022 will end. It is being reported that after the annual series of the show viewers will be treated to a spin off series. The spin off series will feature some of the most loved campmates from the last 20 years of the show. The returning campmates will still have to take part in trials and sleep in the same way they did all those years ago.
Despite that, some things will be different for the brave celebrities. The campmates will have a hand in what goes on in camp through internal votes and challenges rather than the usual voting system. The spin-off show is set to air on ITV in 2023.
