Two Ayrshire community transport groups receive funding worth £280,000 to keep them motoring

Two Ayrshire groups who provide transport to the socially or economically disadvantaged have been handed a welcome windfall.

South Ayrshire Community Transport (SACT) is to receive more than £200,000 from SPT (Strathclyde Partnership for Transport) to help the projects they run locally.

And Coalfield Community Transport will receive more than £80,00 for their efforts in connecting people in East Ayrshire.
