Two artists from different fields will collaborate to produce a new piece of work in the next session of the "Dialogue With The Master" project, at the Studio, 4th floor of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Pathumwan intersection, on Saturday, from 2pm-5pm.
Interested persons are invited to immerse in a conversation with Tomorn Sookprecha, a renowned writer, translator, columnist and editor, who will share his most cherished pieces of literary works that have an influence on his life.
Discover which literature changed the way he looks at the world, stirred his mind, and promoted his perception of the pain of each character and also the power of the letters.
Then, witness a musical interpretation of his thoughts and experience by Asst Prof Anothai Nitibhon. The collaborative work will be presented in the form of live storytelling and music performance -- integrated with sound design and mixed media -- by Pink Sky Orcas, a group of contemporary musicians who experiment with music and other disciplines to come up with a new conversation.
The "Dialogue With The Master" project aims to build collaboration between artists from various disciplines by inviting them to work together, combining their thoughts and experience to form fresh ideas that resonate with the audience.
The conversations will be conducted in Thai. There is no admission fee.
