A man was knocked unconscious outside a pub after a fight spilled outside.
Police were called to reports of an assault, at around 10.40pm on Thursday, July 14, at the Red Lion pub on Bridge Road. At the scene a man was found unconscious outside.
It is reported that the man was assaulted by two other men, inside the pub, a fight then broke out outside of the Red Lion which left him with head and face injuries. He was treated by paramedics but did not wish to be taken to hospital.

Officers have confirmed that two men, aged 38 and 36, from Waterloo, were arrested on suspicion of affray and section 18 assault. They were both taken to a police station in Merseyside where they remain in custody.
A spokesperson for the force said an investigation has now been launched and anyone with information or CCTV footage of the incident which could assist is asked to DM @MerPolCC quoting reference number 22000503230.
