Two arrested on suspicion of Sam Rimmer murder

Two more people have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Sam Rimmer.

A 21-year-old man from Dingle and a 17-year-old male from Liverpool city centre have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of 22-year-old Mr Rimmer, from Bootle. Earlier today, a 20-year-old man also from Liverpool city centre was arrested on suspicion of murder.

All remain in custody for questioning. Detectives revealed this week that tip-offs from the community had been flowing in, after the murder of "little-man Sam." He was shot dead on Lavrock Bank at around 11.40pm on Tuesday, August 16, while he was out with a group of people.
