(Picture: PA Archive)A murder investigation has been launched following a fatal stabbing in Ilford.
Police attended a residential address in Springfield Drive at 1.25am on Saturday following reports a man had been stabbed.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man – believed to be in his 30s – died at the scene.
Two males have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody, the force said.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course and inquiries continue.
