Two arrests have been made after a man was attacked in Moss Side.
Police were called to the scene on Hartington Street in the early hours of the morning on Sunday (January 16).
They said a man was 'suffering from a medical episode'.
Officers found the man had been assaulted and he was taken to hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening, police said.
Two men, aged 29 and 49, were arrested on suspicion of assault.
They have since been released on bail and an investigation is ongoing.
An eyewitness told the M.E.N that police were stationed on Hartington Street for most of the day on Sunday.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called around 2.35am on Sunday 16 January to Hartington Street, Manchester to a report of a man suffering from a medical episode.
"Emergency services attended and enquiries established he had been assaulted.
"He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life changing nor threatening.
"Two men, aged 29 and 49, were arrested on suspicion of assault.
"They have since been released on bail.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
