Two people have been arrested after a burglary at Co-op.
Police report that two suspects broke into the shop, on the Field Lane Estate, Fazakerley, on Tuesday, March 28, at around 2.05am. The suspects stole a number of items and ran off.
Detectives searched the area and a short time later, arrested two men aged 55 and 46 years on suspicion of burglary. Both suspects are in custody to be questioned by police.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "The 46 year old man was also arrested on suspicion of a previous attempted burglary at the same location which took place on the 21st March.
