The Tennessee Titans’ injury-plagued 2022 campaign kept on rolling right along with the news that the team has lost two more of its players for the remainder of the season.
Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky dropped a pair of bombs on Wednesday, reporting that both quarterback Ryan Tannehill and 2021 second-round selection and offensive lineman Dillon Radunz are out for the season.
Both injuries were suffered during the Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Tannehill came down with another injury to his right ankle that will require surgery, and Radunz tore his ACL, which now puts his status for the start of the 2023 campaign in doubt.
With Radunz on the shelf, the Titans are now stuck with Dennis Daley at left tackle. A bigger issue is Tannehill’s absence, as now the team will have to navigate (and avoid a collapse) with a rookie quarterback under center.
Safe to say, an already weary Titans fan base didn’t take the news too well.
Titans will be without Ryan Tannehill and Dillon Radunz for the rest of the season
Honestly, have ZERO words and am numb inside. Y’all have a Merry Christmas#Titans

If Ryan Tannehill is done for the season, I really question the decision to let him back in the game against the Chargers. #titans

The never-ending bad injury news continues for the #Titans:
Per @PaulKuharskyNFL, multiple sources have confirmed QB Ryan Tannehill is likely done for the season with his ankle injury that may require surgery, and OL Dillon Radunz tore his ACL, putting his 2023 camp in jeopardy.

All 5 starting OLineman for the #Titans are on this week’s injury report.
Dillon Radunz tore his ACL after 15 snaps during a “LT rotation”
Signed 3 OLineman in 2 days
Now a rookie QB is expected to run for his life behind a make-shift Oline that was already horrible pic.twitter.com/WXtz7LnEwQ

I refuse to believe Tannehill is out for the season. I bet he plays at Jaguars week 18
If he is out for the season that's devastatingly sad.
NO ONE IN THE NFL HAS DONE MORE WITH LESS THAN RYAN TANNEHILL THE PAST 3 YEARS.
I blame Vrabel and Downing. The are bad coaches#Titans

#Titans QB Ryan Tannehill is very likely done for the season, per @PaulKuharskyNFL.
Wild that he came back in and finished out that game last week.

With Ryan Tannehill out for the rest of the season. Are the Titans rebuilding around Josh Dobbs?

Also, depending on the severity of the injury, this could mean we don't see Radunz for most (or all) of 2023 as well. Having fun yet?

That’s funny, the #Titans offensive line put Ryan Tannehill in a motorized scooter for the holidays… https://t.co/8oCsGBMdQU

@DillonRadunz Get will soon big guy, hate to see it for anyone… especially you 💙

I made a Dillon Radunz film video and even though he went on IR today I figured I would still put it out for y'all.
Radunz wasn't perfect at all, but man it was quite the improvement over what we have seen this season. I cover the good & the bad! #Titans

If Malik comes out and wins the next three and takes the #Titans to the playoffs I don't see how they roll with Tannehill in 2023. Not likely, but hey just saying.
Also as a man who paid good money for tickets to TNF next week, I want to believe they can still win lmao

It's time for Malik to ball out and deliver the Titans a division title. Start setting the tone now and deliver on the 2023 agenda. I'm all in. Let's go. https://t.co/lUh7d7xunU
