The Detroit Lions went to Lambeau Field Thursday night to collect the rent.
From 1992-2014, the Lions were losers of 21 straight at Lambeau, including playoffs. Since 2015, Detroit is 5-4 against the Green Bay Packers in their house and now riding a two-game winning streak.
Jordan Love couldn’t escape the Lions pass rush. The Packers’ signal caller took five sacks as he went 23-of-36 for 246 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions.
David Montgomery carried the load for the Lions as he tallied 121 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries.
Twitter was full of takes and reactions throughout the game. Here are among the best.

"Jordan Love was picked in the draft in 2020. It shocked the hell out of Aaron Rodgers at that point. As Rodgers said, he went right to the liquor cabinet."

Seeing how bad Jordan Love is struggling with his beat up offensive line just makes you realize how good C.J Stroud has been with 4/5 starting offensive lineman out every week this season.
— Nick Schwager (@NickSchwagerNFL) September 29, 2023
The @Lions defense has pressured Jordan Love on nearly half of his dropbacks, without blitzing on a single play.
Every Packers offensive lineman has allowed at least one pressure so far tonight.

they couldn’t even protect jordan love long enough for him to heave up a hail mary and that guy was in my mentions earlier trying to tell me that the pass protection is fine

When is it going to become fully socially acceptable to admit watching Jared Goff play quarterback is fun?
— Matt Harmon (@MattHarmon_BYB) September 29, 2023
I think this has to be the play of the half by Jared Goff in TNF 💪 pic.twitter.com/IA3VoUpaqE

Goff out blocking the entire interior of the Packers O line.
That’s great. https://t.co/gHpd1cCijA

And yet it's Sean McVay who's the offensive genius. Man couldn't get Goff to line up correct, let alone pull this shit off. https://t.co/P1a0aNT3oJ

That was the most dominant half of Lions football I think I’ve ever watched… wow. Don’t take the foot off the gas, game isn’t over yet. pic.twitter.com/qD8n5uv5jm

If Sean Payton hadn’t waited a year to decide he didn’t want to be here they could’ve had Dan Campbell *and* Ben Johnson. Oh well https://t.co/LSAtSP7dSZ

"Maybe you should utilize Jahmyr Gibbs since you drafted him in the 1st round."

I will repeat this for those in the back… Aaron Rodgers was the greatest deodorant for the #packers. Congrats Gutey and LaFleur. 🤡

— CourtsideFlex (@CourtsideFlex) September 29, 2023
The #Lions seem determined to make this one interesting. Personally, I'd settle for a good, old-fashioned, boring blowout right about now.
