Ciryl Gane is back in impressive fashion.
The former UFC interim heavyweight champion rebounded from his disappointing loss to Jon Jones by stopping fellow contender Serghei Spivac in the main event of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 226 at Accor Arena in Paris.
Gane (12-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) picked apart Spivac (16-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) in the first round, and eventually the damage added up, forcing Spivac to shell up and stop fighting in the second. It was one of Gane’s best UFC wins.

Great win by Ciryl Gane. That exactly what he needed: A non-gun shy performance with a finish and proof of improvement in wrestling defense.
He's still very much title contender. #UFCParis
