The Denver Broncos trailed the Los Angeles Chargers 20-0 at halftime on Sunday. After L.A. kicked a field goal in the third quarter, Denver scored 16 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, but the team’s comeback attempt came to an end after they failed to recover an onside kick.
Here’s a sampling of how Twitter/X reacted to a 23-16 loss on Sunday.

Watching Herbert work progressions and then watching Bo is making me queasy.

None of yall patient with a Rookie QB. You wanted him to start soooo much, but can’t take the trial by fire that you wanted

“Its been 6 starts” you'd like to see progress from game 1 to game 6.
We have not seen much if any.— Frankie Abbott (@FrankiesFilm) October 13, 2024
I get the patience part of it but I think people have a right to be slightly disappointed with the results thus far especially considering the improvement week to week has been in more niche areas of his game and not the ones that elevate an offense.

Hey @Broncos fans at least Tim Patrick is having a good day for the Lions.

Let’s just start Jarrett Stidham the rest of the season.

I just wish more fans understood more than one thing can be true at once. Receiver room is an issue, run game is an issue, and QB play is an issue today as well. They have 0 points through 3 quarters, it’s not just one thing.

Ya, I think it’s safe to say that this looks like another Team loss.
Passing game 👎🏽
Running Game 👎🏽
O. Play calling : hard to tell the whole story before All22
Defensive play calling : 👎🏽
Riley Moss: still a stud 😏— 🄱🄾🄶🄶🄸🄽🅂 (@Mr_Boggins) October 13, 2024
Nobody is saying Bo Nix is the entire problem (well, nobody worth listening to anyway).
But is he part of the solution? Cuz those are two different things.— Mike DeCicco (@MikeDeCicco) October 13, 2024
I've seen some bad Broncos games but this one might the be the most uncompetitive I've seen them.

That's an embarrassing loss because @Broncos didn't get off the bus until the second half. Everyone was uncharacteristic in the first half from defense to offense to everything. Good adjustments by VJ and the D for the 2nd half. But how we feeling after that one #BroncosCountry?

6-2 was a nice fantasy we’d be lucky to get to 4-4 now

Broncos lose 23-16 to the Chargers and fall to 3-3 on the year.
Disappointing loss with the Broncos classic get your hopes up late only to stomp on it in your face at the end of the game.
— MileHighReport (@MileHighReport) October 13, 2024
Broncos fall, 23-16.
They have a first-half problem. Their offense doesn’t have a TD before halftime since Week 3. The defense seemed rattled by PS2’s concussion and couldn’t get off the field in the first half. 16 fourth-quarter points were too little, too late.
Denver is 3-3.

Up next for the Broncos is a short turnaround ahead of a Thursday Night Football clash with the New Orleans Saints in Week 7.
