After struggling in his first two NFL starts, Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix had what some have dubbed a breakout game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.
Nix went 25-of-36 passing for 216 yards with no sacks and no turnovers. He also rushed nine times for 47 yards and a touchdown in a 26-7 win.
Here’s a sampling of how fans and pundits reacted to Nix’s performance on Twitter:

Bo Nix on the #Broncos' opening drive:
4-of-4, 70 yards, 118.8 quarterback rating.
Two carries for 5 yards and a touchdown.

Bo Nix is looking exactly like what Sean Payton promised #BroncosCountry
Sean Payton is looking like the Play-Caller his reputation would suggest.
Bo & Sean are in their Bag!

Sean Payton and Bo Nix are on the same page and more importantly, the execution has been pinpoint
Two more quarters to go
Pass rushers need to put their stamp on this second half and come out of FL with a win

Guys I'm biased as hell but Bo Nix looks night and day better today, and he's on the road against Todd Bowles (albeit missing some of their best defensive pieces).
— Frankie Abbott (@FrankiesFilm) September 22, 2024
That's more like what I expected a Sean Payton/Bo Nix #Broncos offense to look like, for crying out loud. Let's go!
— Chad Jensen (@ChadNJensen) September 22, 2024
Just a great 2 minute situation by Bo Nix and the Broncos' offense. The Bucs had some momentum, and you took it right back before the half. Love to see it.

It won't show up anywhere in the boxscore, but that play by Bo Nix was huge. Under pressure pretty quickly and was able to get rid of the football and avoid the sack with 2 seconds to go in the half. Broncos kick a field goal and go up 20-7 at the break.

Great 2-minute drive by Bo Nix. Love that Sean Payton trusted him to chase points.
Wasn't perfect, but he's growing up before our very eyes.

It’s crazy that when we stop throwing strictly quick game the offense comes alive.
Bo Nix ripping it today.
Sean Payton finally realized pre season is over…

One thing Bo Nix always does?
Improve.
He gets better and better as he gets more reps.
Auburn – Oregon – Camp – Preseason – Season.
Starts slow and takes off.

Who else didn’t sell a single share of their Bo Nix stock?
— Zach Bye (@byesline) September 22, 2024
Bo Nix has been impressive today. This is the best performance we've seen from a rookie QB this season thus far.
— James Palmer (@JamesPalmerTV) September 22, 2024
This has been probably the best game by a rookie QB so far this young season. Let’s see if the people most vocal about the first two will talk about it!
— Robby (@Robby_NFL) September 22, 2024
All my guys are Bo Bros and all my girls are Nix Chix
— RG 📷 (@RyanGreeneDNVR) September 22, 2024
Definitely Bo Nix' best game so far.
Might be best rookie QB performance so far.
— Benjamin Allbright (@AllbrightNFL) September 22, 2024
Wait, so is the lesson here that we shouldn’t condemn a rookie QB after only two games?
— Jeffrey Essary (@JeffreyEssary) September 22, 2024
Bo Nix finishes the day with the most complete rookie QB performance we've seen in 2024 to date.
A very encouraging win!

Up next for Nix and Co. is another road game, this time against the New York Jets in Week 4. The Broncos will practice in West Virginia this week leading up to their game in New Jersey.
