The Chicago Bears and first-year general manager Ryan Poles finally made their first pick of the 2022 NFL draft on Friday evening, selecting Washington cornerback Kyler Gordon with the 39th overall pick.
Poles and the Bears opted to go for defense instead of addressing the offense, finding a potential shutdown corner who shined in the Pac-12 throughout his collegiate career.
Gordon fills a glaring need on defense as the cornerback position was abysmal last year outside of Jaylon Johnson.
But are fans happy with the addition? Or upset the team didn’t address the offense yet? Here’s the initial reaction from Twitter.
