Ex-president Donald Trump is known for putting up a stink about things he doesn't like, especially when it comes to social media.
Trump even went as far as to create his own social media network, Truth Social, in Feb. 2022, after Twitter banned him in the wake of the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol following his loss in the 2020 presidential election.
Trump's name came up in a House Republican oversight hearing committee on Feb. 8 when VA congressman Gerry Connelly questioned former Twitter employee-turned-whistleblower Anika Collier Navaroli about the White House requesting the company to remove a tweet about him made by TV personality Chrissy Teigen.
Connelly said Trump "heckled" Teigen and husband John Legend, and also referred to the couple as "the musician John Legend and his filthy-mouthed wife".
Soon after, Navaroli was asked by Democratic FL congressman Maxwell Frost to read the content of the tweet the White House requested that Twitter delete, which said, "Trump is a pussy ass bitch."
Teigan retweeted the video of the interaction not long after it surfaced on social media.
Teigen's followers were quick to applaud her words, calling her a "queen" and "iconic." One even loved her take so much they were quick to turn it into art.
Frost remained unflappable despite the content of the tweet, saying, "Okay....free speech."
