Twitter is a popular social media platform and online microblogging service that allows users to share and interact with short messages known as "tweets." It was created in 2006 and has since grown into a global platform with millions of active users.
On Twitter, users can post tweets, which are limited to 280 characters (previously 140 characters) in length. These tweets can include text, photos, videos, links, and hashtags. Users can follow other accounts to see their tweets on their timeline, and they can also engage with tweets by liking, retweeting (sharing), and replying to them.
Twitter serves as a platform for real-time information sharing, discussion, and networking. Users can post updates, express their thoughts and opinions, share news, and engage in conversations on various topics. It has become a significant platform for public figures, organizations, businesses, and individuals to connect with their audience, promote content, and engage in social and political discussions.
