Twitter users have reported that the social media platform has gone down this morning (March 1), with the app and website failing to refresh for many.
Users are coming across tweets that are days old with the 'following' and 'for you page' both affected for thousands across Glasgow and the rest of the UK.
According to Down Detector, there have been almost six thousand reports with the first few coming in at just before 10am this morning.

The site, which keeps track of which applications are functioning correctly, suggests the app is having the most issues with 64 per cent of people reporting an issue with it.
The website itself is also having issues with 33 per cent reporting an issue. In addition to this, four per cent are reporting problems with the server connection.
Taking to the app to tweet that they are unable to see the latest, one user said: "Is Twitter down again I can't see any tweets?"
Another said: "I am always relieved when I check the #TwitterDown hashtag when my feed isn't working because I always worry it's something only happening to me and my account until then."
"Looks like Twitter is down. Has anyone else's feed vanished?" quizzed a third Twitter user.
