When the hit on Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was made in real-time during the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, many of us thought it was a clear and obvious targeting penalty. After a commercial break, the referees decided it was a clean hit (it was NOT) that sidelined Harrison Jr. for the remainder of the game.
Well, it seems like a Georgia memorabilia company is trying to reap the benefits of this illegal hit. They are selling a Georgia safety Javon Bullard, (who hit Harrison Jr.), signed photo and Twitter wasn’t having any of it.
See the best reactions from fans and media and the man himself regarding this company trying to collect after Harrison Jr. suffered a concussion.
Tom Orr, who took the photo
You've probably seen this incredibly tasteless autographed photo going around Twitter tonight.
The original photo is mine and was apparently cropped to remove the watermark.
I did not sell the rights to my photo to this company and have contacted them, asking them to remove it. pic.twitter.com/eNKcVQw45x

Reaction
Orr is trying to get the photo removed and rightfully so, it’s a classless move.

They may be national champs, but they are dead last in class…

Couldn’t have said it better myself, Darrel.

The “Night Night” stuff is disgusting. Extremely impressed with Marvin Harrison Jr for handling it like a mature adult. Young man is a true role model for young kids who love him. pic.twitter.com/beMKXUjD0N

It’s pretty terrible of Georgia fans to be trying to make a quick buck off a terrible hit.

Pretty bold coming from a program that’s a Jameson Williams torn ACL and a Marvin Harrison Jr. concussion away from having 0 national championships to show for the last two seasons. https://t.co/2sWmlwWEnm

I see no incorrect statement there.

I would be willing to bet that Harrison would love another opportunity to face the Bulldogs.
