1. Many NBA fans have long said that Lakers GM Rob Pelinka and actor Rob Lowe have to be the same person based on how much they look alike.
That theory was put to rest Tuesday night when TNT showed both men in the arena for Game 1 of the Lakers-Warriors series.

Props to TNT for getting in on the conspiracy theory and giving us that amazing side-by-side shot.
Naturally, Twitter was filled with instant reaction to seeing just how much Pelinka looks like Lowe.

rob pelinka has 3 final fours, a national title, and an NBA title. but i think deep down he’s happiest that the internet thinks he looks like rob lowe. https://t.co/dvRgMycN6P

Rob Pelinka and Rob Lowe look like they star in a movie about separated twins called "Coast 2 Coast". One growing up in NY, and the other in LA. https://t.co/9wUrphoL6m

3. New York Post media reporter Andrew Marchand reports Chris Fowler will now lead ESPN’s backup NFL crew. This means Steve Levy, who was the lead voice of Monday Night Football before ESPN brought in Joe Buck and Troy Aikman for Fox, is out.
NEWS: Chris Fowler is replacing Steve Levy on ESPN's No. 2 MNF team, The Post has learned. https://t.co/hh0gq1tSly
— Andrew Marchand (@AndrewMarchand) May 2, 2023
ESPN will have more of a need for its No. 2 crew this season because the network will have three doubleheaders in 2023. I’m not sure, though, why this move had to be made. Levy has been a good soldier for ESPN and booting him twice in a span of two years from its NFL booth seems awfully harsh.
It made sense when ESPN wanted to replace Levy with Buck because Buck is one of, if not, the top NFL play-by-play guy in the business. But replacing Levy for Fowler just feels like a big “Why?”

6. The latest SI Media With Jimmy Traina features an interview with the NFL Network’s Rich Eisen.
Eisen talks about hosting the NFL draft for the 19th year in a row, what covering the draft is like, what his goal is when hosting the draft, whether the assignment is still a difficult one, whether he feels competitive going head to head with ESPN and whether he prefers covering Super Bowl Sunday or the draft.
Eisen also discusses his recent saga with losing his blue check mark on Twitter and then getting it back, how Elon Musk has affected his business and the most cringeworthy fallout from Musk’s Twitter Blue.
Other topics covered with Eisen include Aaron Rodgers’s getting traded to the Jets, the Yankees’ futility, his annual “Run Rich Run” 40-yard dash for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and more.
