Twitch CMO and Head of International, Doug Scott, said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring the Twitch community back together after a two year hiatus. Since we last hosted TwitchCon in Berlin and San Diego two years ago, tens of millions of new creators have streamed for the first time. On Twitch, everyone plays a role in creating the moment. Attending TwitchCon is incredibly special because we finally see the magic and passion of communities formed on Twitch coming together IRL. One thing Twitch has proven, especially the past two years, is that virtual communities are just as strong, if not stronger than physical communities and can foster meaningful bonds.”
