Twelve police officers have been injured and 16 people have been arrested in Northern Ireland following a second night of disorder in the wake of the Belfast knife attack.
Northern Ireland Secretary Hilary Benn condemned “racist thuggery” following the stabbing, which left the victim seriously injured, but said there was less violence on Wednesday evening than seen the previous night.
