The Fall: Skydive Murder Plot
9pm, Channel 4
A stranger-than-fiction true crime retold through dramatisations, recordings and the people who were there – including the victim. In 2015, Victoria Cilliers plummeted to the ground during a skydive after a parachute failure – and astonishingly survived. But this was no accident. Detectives spent two years digging into the murky life of Victoria’s husband (affairs, debts, sex clubs) and found that he was the person who tried to murder his wife. Hollie Richardson
The Great British Sewing Bee
9pm, BBC One
Reduce, reuse, recycle! That’s the theme for this week’s challenges set by host Kiell Smith-Bynoe – who is settling into his new role nicely. One contestant is already wearing a tablecloth as a shirt, so making a scrap-fabric quilted bag, a solid-colour outfit from old clothes and turning a wedding dress into partywear should be easy. HR
A League of Their Own: Mexican Road Trip
9pm, Sky Max
On the final leg, the gang arrive in the coastal city of La Paz – but will they get to relax in the sun? No chance. Instead, it’s straight out on a scuba diving trip, then there’s time for a quick minivan singalong (Oasis’s Wonderwall, naturally) before the real work begins: learning Mexico’s national hat dance. Queenie
10pm, Channel 4
Queenie (Dionne Brown) decides to make the most of her “break” from Tom (Jon Pointing) and finds herself in a situationship. But why isn’t it the liberating experience she wanted? Then, in the second episode of a double bill, it’s Christmas and her mum visits – triggering a whole load of trauma. HR
The Rest Is Politics: Election Special
11.05pm, Channel 4
The hit podcast that has pledged to get into the “entrails” of the election continues its synergistic multimedia run. So far, there is not much about the visual component that is more appealing than just listening to the pod while doing the dishes, but hosts Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart remain amiable, informed company. Tokyo Vice
11.10pm, BBC One
Series two of the intense gangster drama ends, with a delicate plan to bring down yakuza boss Tozawa. As the cops, Tozawa’s lover and American journalist Jake work together, the show skilfully orchestrates a crescendo of big decisions, last-minute solutions and tense showdowns. Jack Seale
