The Curse

10pm, Channel 4

The hit comedy-drama returns with a double bill, and it’s been 18 months since the gang’s gold heist. Now in “the ultimate lawbreakers’ paradise” of mid-80s Spain with their stash of precious metal, Albert (Allan Mustafa) and Tash (Emer Kenny) run a chain of hotels while Sidney (Steve Stamp) is enjoying a new identity wearing a leather vest and calling himself Andy. A locked-up Mick (Tom Davis), meanwhile, is being transferred to Strangeways prison in Manchester. Hollie Richardson

Paul O’Grady for the Love of Dogs

8.30pm, ITV1

O’Grady’s poignant final series continues with the comedy great bringing so much warmth to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Spaniels are a common sight there, but there’s a moving moment when O’Grady encounters one that was found tied up and has none of the breed’s trademark bounce. There’s also a yappy patterdale and a delightful visit from Harry Hill. Hannah Verdier

Guilt

9pm, BBC Two

Scotland’s answer to Fargo returns for a third and final series, and the McCall brothers, Max (Mark Bonnar) and Jake (Jamie Sives), are attempting to allay those guilty feelings once and for all. The tense script from Neil Forsyth (The Gold) has them contemplating a future apart. First, though, they must confront the past together. Ellen E Jones

Taskmaster

9pm, Channel 4

“Is this like an Alzheimer’s test?” The Royal Rumble for rib-tickling comics marks this season’s halfway point with another gauntlet of goofball challenges, including a busking-themed spin on the old memory game Simon. Who among Frankie Boyle, Ivo Graham, Jenny Eclair, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Mae Martin can make the least-worst racket? Graeme Virtue

Evicted

9pm, BBC Three

Thai in Bristol is fighting a 66% rent increase (her second in six months). Dawn in the West Midlands received an eviction notice 10 days after giving birth – she has two weeks until the bailiffs come. These case studies of people getting evicted during the UK’s housing crisis are maddening and, crucially, take the focus beyond London. HR

Inside No 9

10pm, BBC Two

Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith return with their sinister but silly anthology series, this week playing chalk-and-cheese brothers hunting for their dead parent’s hidden cash. But they are soon interrupted by dodgy guest stars Anita Dobson and Phil Daniels, who help unravel even more family secrets. HR

Sweat (Magnus von Horn, 2020), 1.50am, Channel 4
A close-up Polish drama that picks at the uneasy dependency between social media personalities and their followers. Aerobics influencer Sylwia (a tightly wound Magdalena Kolesnik) finds the fragility of her hi-vis persona exposed by loneliness, parental issues and a stalker. Constantly posting her private thoughts online, Sylwia is a breakdown waiting to happen, her self-esteem bound up in factors out of her control. The handheld camerawork, as in-your-face as a selfie, highlights her pressure cooker of an existence. Simon Wardell

Live sport

Premier League Football: Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United 7pm, BT Sport 1. Also, Everton v Newcastle United at 7.15pm on BT Sport 2.
