World on Fire season 2, 9 pm, BBC One
David the dashing RAF pilot (Gregg Sulkin) has quietly become one of our favourite characters in this World War Two saga, so we were concerned to see him crash land behind enemy lines last week. In tonight’s fourth episode he’s taken in by Henriette (Eugenie Derouand), a courageous French resistance fighter, yet with the Nazis prowling the countryside, he’s not out of danger yet.
As two Jews caught up the war, the pair know an unthinkable fate awaits them should they be caught by the enemy – and so they embark on a perilous journey in a bid to reach safety.

Levison Wood: Walking with Orangutans, 8 pm, Channel 4
Explorer Levison Wood is on a mission to track down some of the most endangered animals on the planet and in the first of this three-part series he heads to Borneo to look for endangered orangutans. Levison braves 350C temperatures, 96 per cent humidity and thirsty leeches to trek Borneo’s rainforests and soon sees first-hand how our demand for palm oil is destroying the orangutans’ habitat. There are just 100,000 orangutans left in the wild but after meeting those fighting on their behalf, Levison is left believing there might be some hope for their future.

Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby, 8 pm, BBC Two
Rob Rinder teams up with Monica Galetti, as the new co-host of this popular behind-the-scenes travelogue. Their first stop in the eight-parter is Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco where they join the 140-strong staff. Rob’s tasked with baking bread, hiking through the Atlas Mountains and mucking out stables, while Monica goes shopping. Learning about the history of the 102-year-old building the duo meet with owner Richard Branson, who reveals a personal connection to the idyllic retreat. This may seem a departure for Rob, but his curiosity, warmth and easy manner make him a first-rate replacement for Giles Coren.

Alone, 9 pm, Channel 4/Channel 4 On Demand (box set)
The first UK version of this popular survival show sees 11 brave souls dropped into the Canadian wilderness, where each of them must survive entirely on their own and with only a few essential tools. Tackling the basics of shelter, fire, food and water is challenging enough, but with the local wildlife – including bears, wolves and cougars – there is serious jeopardy, not to mention the mental strain
of isolation and hardship. There are some truly scary moments during this first episode, and we learn that the emerging favourites to be last person standing (and potential winners of the £100,000 prize), are not quite who we might have expected.

Crazy Rich Agents, 9 pm, BBC Two
Five rookie brokers are putting everything on the line to make it big in the world of luxury real estate in a new four-part fly-on-the-wall series. It follows a model, a building society worker, a Dubai estate agent, a music producer and a former care worker, as they join the London arm of a global luxury real estate firm. Up for grabs is a three-month placement at the agency’s New York HQ but our rookies need to learn fast – sealing the deal could earn them a six-figure commission. Think The Apprentice meets Selling Sunset.

Best box set on TV tonight
Silo is set in a tragic, toxic future, Rebecca plays Juliette, or Jules, an independent and hardworking engineer. Jules lives in a community in a giant silo hundreds of stories deep, which is the only way to survive on a planet where the air is poisonous. The survivors are forced to follow the strict rules they believe are meant to protect them. However some rebel against the regulations and dare to hope and dream for a better future.
These people are considered to be dangerous and the punishment for breaking the rules is simple — they are forced outside to "clean". And that’s a task they won’t survive.

Three eccentric scientists put their hi-tech gadgetry and knowledge of the paranormal to money-making use by setting up in business as freelance ghost catchers. A musician calls them in to investigate when she sees strange creatures in her kitchen, only to end up possessed.
As the spook-hunting team members deal with an attempt to shut their operation down, they discover an evil demonic entity is being summoned into existence and it falls to them to stop this creature from destroying the world. Supernatural comedy adventure, starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson and Rick Moranis.
