George Michael: Outed
9pm, Channel 4
“Two historic questions dominate the front pages of our great national newspapers,” said a news anchor in 1998. “One is: will there finally be peace in Northern Ireland? Two is: what exactly was George Michael doing to himself in a Beverly Hills loo?” Using never before broadcast audio of the singer and interviews with his former partner, Kenny Goss, and the journalists who outed him in the homophobic tabloid press, this two-part documentary relates how Michael’s arrest for a “lewd act” was a landmark moment for queer politics. Jamie’s £1 Wonders
8pm, Channel 4
Following a special episode at the end of last year intended to help with the cost of living, Oliver returns with a full series of recipes that apparently cost £1 per portion to make. He starts off in the kitchen with roast chicken, pizza that doesn’t require an oven, pancake stacks layered with spinach, ham and cheese, and microwaved chilli con carne. HR
Better
9pm, BBC One
It’s the penultimate episode of the tense bent-copper thriller and after last week’s shock confession, Lou (Leila Farzad) is out of time. But can she take drug kingpin Col (Andrew Buchan) down with her? The plotting may be implausible but things really crackle whenever these two share a scene, and tonight it’s a doozy. Graeme Virtue
Unforgotten
9pm, ITV1
“It didn’t mean anything” – the feeble words uttered by many a cheating spouse, including Steve James (Andrew Lancel). Personal plights aside, work continues for DCI Jessica James (Sinéad Keenan) as the identity of the corpse lodged in the chimney is revealed. But it’s upon breaking the tragic news to the victim’s mother that their twisting, tumultuous relationship becomes evident. Danielle De Wolfe
The Last of Us
9pm, Sky Atlantic
The roles switch in this horrifying episode of the apocalyptic video game adaptation, with Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as protector while Joel (Pedro Pascal) is barely alive. Do the men she meets in the woods have the medicine Joel needs? They should know who they are dealing with before pulling any tricks. HR
Sex Actually with Alice Levine
10pm, Channel 4
Levine delves into the world of non-monogamy this week. We visit a sex dinner party, meet a polycule and see awkward snippets of a foursome (they use some, erm, “creative” camera angles in order to preserve anonymity). Although the host treats the subject matter seriously, be warned: not a comfortable intergenerational watch. Micha Frazer-Carroll
