Tilda Swinton: The Wildcards

9pm, Sky Arts
Tilda Swinton is endlessly versatile, as this engaging deep dive into her career shows. The tone is set by an astonishingly self-possessed early interview in which she is scornful towards career progression for its own sake: “What I am working towards is what I’m doing now.” What follows, from her work with Derek Jarman to her more mainstream ventures, seems consistent with the vision of this enigmatic and engaging actor. Phil Harrison

Cornwall: A Year by the Sea

8pm, Channel 5
The escapist documentary series returns to Scarrabine, a clifftop farm overlooking the north coast. With times increasingly tough for farmers, the team there has branched out into tourism: this week they lead a kayaking trip to caves and coves. Down in Falmouth, the owners of a thriving artisan gin business walk the coast, foraging for botanicals. Jack Seale

24 Hours in Police Custody

9pm, Channel 4
A horrific situation arises in this intense episode as a hotel receptionist is faced with a blood-covered man claiming he has just killed someone. As the Bedfordshire police race to the scene, can the unfortunate employee keep a lid on the unfolding drama? Grimly absorbing. PH

The Traitors US

9pm, BBC Three

The American version of the globally famed gameshow is all celebrities by default, although it pitches at the level of those known for appearing in other reality shows. This year the wildcard is Love Island UK star Maura Higgins. Up to now she has voted for the eliminated contestant every time – can she keep the run going? JS

FBI

9pm, Sky Witness
The slick procedural centred around the dedicated agents of New York City’s FBI field office channels action-movie bombast for its season eight finale. Vials of a deadly airborne pathogen are up for grabs in Manhattan. Can our heroes secure the bioweapon ahead of a black ops squad led by a dodgy CIA veteran? Graeme Virtue

The Accused: Beyond Reasonable Doubt?

10pm, Channel 4
Another tragic but ambiguous case is unpicked in this intriguing series examining the British justice system. In 1992, Paula Gilfoyle was found dead in an apparent suicide. However, her husband, Eddie, was found guilty of murder and sent to prison. Thus began a decades-long battle with the appeals system as Gilfoyle protested his innocence. PH
