10.40pm, BBC One
Gird your loins as we return to London’s financial district for a third series of this full-throttle drama by ex-City workers. Kit Harington joins as the subtly named Sir Henry Muck; the IPO of his “green” company is being handled by Pierpoint, so Yasmin (Marisa Abela) must impress new partner Eric (Ken Leung) while also dealing with the high-profile disappearance of her father. Elsewhere, Harper (Myha’la) is keeping her head down as a PA until she meets portfolio manager Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg). How best to deal with all this? A cocktail of drugs, sex and backstabbing, apparently. Hollie Richardson
The Great British Bake Off
8pm, Channel 4
Week two is biscuits, starting with the perfect Viennese sandwich. Then it’s time to open the peppermint essence as the technical bake goes down memory lane, before a showstopper with thespian pretensions: a puppet theatre, but made of biscuits. It’s enough for cracks to start showing … Jack Seale
Living Every Second: The Kris Hallenga Story
9pm, BBC Two
Kris Hallenga was an incredible woman. After a stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis when she was only 23, she co-founded the charity CoppaFeel! to raise awareness, then campaigned around the country while undergoing chemotherapy. Before dying in May at 38, she invited cameras into her home. This documentary uses that footage, along with her own recordings and interviews with supporters such as Fearne Cotton and Dawn French to tell her story. HR
Twisted Twins
9pm, ITV1
The hit podcast The Teacher’s Pet shone a light on the disappearance of Lynette Dawson, but her family had been searching for answers for nearly 40 years, unable to believe she would willingly leave her children. Here, her family and friends talk about the case, including accusations against her husband, Chris, and his identical twin, Paul. Hannah Verdier
Storyville: War Game
10pm, BBC Four
As the US presidential election approaches, this fascinating film tracks an unscripted role-play exercise (involving members of previous administrations) that uses footage from January 6 and dramatised material to simulate an attempted coup featuring insurrectionists from the National Guard. Phil Harrison
Jamali Maddix: Follow the Leader
10pm, U&Dave
The comedian meets a pastor (who calls himself “King Bullet Head”) and his congregation in Tennessee so you don’t have to. It’s gobsmacking and frustrating as he encounters people who wear crowns of bullets, believe abortions are carried out after nine months and say being gay is a choice. Kudos to Maddix for handling it coolly. HR
