Sweetpea
9pm, Sky Atlantic
Fresh from the hit shows Yellowjackets and Fallout, Ella Purnell leads another fun, darkly comic gorefest (adapted from the book of the same name by CJ Skuse). She plays a wallflower called Rhiannon, who it’s fair to say has had a trying life: her mum walked out, she was horrendously bullied at school, her dad is sick in hospital and she toils for little reward at the local newspaper. Everyone reaches breaking point – so when Rhiannon meets her bully again, prepare for blood. Hollie Richardson
Question Time US Election Special
9pm, BBC One
Fiona Bruce is in Philadelphia – the largest city in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania, which Joe Biden won by barely 1% in 2020 – for a special episode of the political debate show. She will take questions from US citizens casting their votes in next month’s presidential election. The panel, including state house members from both sides, the BBC’s Anthony Zurcher and the political commentator Mehdi Hasan, will be quizzed on the economy, immigration, abortion and foreign affairs. Taskmaster
9pm, Channel 4
Taskmaster cannot fail. This season’s lineup may not be the strongest the show has had, but even when it doesn’t gel, the games and hosts are enough. Greg Davies and a large jar are good value this week, as is Andy Zaltzman, who sets to work making a robot sing. Jack Seale
Emma Willis: Delivering Babies
9.10pm, U&W
The Voice presenter ends her stint working as a maternity care assistant by having to run an antenatal clinic on her own. Will it go OK? Or might she get something catastrophically wrong and potentially endanger a patient? Given the legal ramifications of the latter, the conclusion seems foregone, but she is always an empathic and engaging presence. Alexi Duggins
Brassic
10pm, Sky Max
The sweary, misanthropic farmer Jim (Steve Evets) takes the spotlight in this surprisingly romantic episode of the lairy comedy, guest-starring a very game Liza Tarbuck as the one who got away. Elsewhere, the fugitive JJ (Nightsleeper’s Parth Thakerar) is back on the scene, but needs help to get the cops off his case. Graeme Virtue
Couples Therapy
11.05pm, BBC Two
Dr Orna is keen to teach all her clients about listening to their internal voice in this set of sessions. Polyamory problems, the trauma behind an OCD diagnosis and considering feelings about the future are also up for debate. HR
