Interview With the Vampire

9pm, BBC Two

This enjoyably witty and raunchy adaptation has firmly located Anne Rice’s gothic horror classic in the present (unlike the 1994 film, which focused on the historical antics of the vampires). Concluding with another double bill, Eric Bogosian’s Molloy is continuing to provoke all and sundry. Daggers drawn, then, for Lestat’s lavish Mardi Gras ball in New Orleans at which many scores will be explosively settled. Phil Harrison

Mary Makes It Easy

7.30pm, BBC Two

With 60 years of cookery experience, Mary Berry doesn’t have to rely on a Pot Noodle, but not everyone has her kitchen talents. In this new series, she shows celebrities how to whip up easy but impressive dishes. First up is a camping trip with Mel Giedroyc, in which she makes a speedy ragu. Hannah Verdier

Soldier

9pm, BBC One

It’s time to “pass out”, complete training and join the army – or it is if the young applicants can ace final tests of fitness, survival, trench-digging and the surprisingly challenging task of bayoneting a straw dummy. There’s more than one story of last-minute redemption before the platoon is dismissed. Jack Seale

Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera

9pm, ITV1

Another series of a show that owes its entire existence to the ubiquity of the cameraphone. This time, there’s terrifying footage of a plane stalling in mid-air with a group of skydivers still semi-attached, and a skier fighting almost impossible odds after being caught in an avalanche. PH

Taskmaster

10pm, Channel 4

Another delightful series of the comedy institution has succeeded in bringing the best out of everyone involved. However, this year’s star contestant is surely the brilliantly bewildered Lucy Beaumont. This week, she suffers agonies over possibly flicking a forbidden switch. Meanwhile, Sue Perkins has fun with a deer head. PH

Brassic

10pm, Sky Max

It’s a caravan-based caper this week, as Ash attempts to retrieve his great-gran’s home from a rival Traveller site. Meanwhile, Vinnie and Erin’s idea of family time is causing mayhem at a school parents’ social event. Can’t say this stuck-up lot don’t deserve it. Ellen E Jones
