A TV reporter had her hand bag rifled through and items stolen as she reported live from the World Cup. The Mirror revealed that Dominique Metzger from Argentina was doing a piece to camera from the Corniche area of Doha when the incident happened.
She was then stunned at the response from police - who were very confident that they would catch the perpetrator. She revealed that when she told the officers what had happened, they asked her what punishment she wanted inflicted on the perpetrator.
Qatar began the tournament on Sunday with a 2-0 loss to Ecuador and while the game was taking place, Ms Metzger was on air outside the stadium. After the broadcast she discovered that a number of items had been stolen from her handbag, the Mirror reports.
