Thanksgiving isn't until July, but America will have plenty to be thankful for as they tuck into Turkiye on Wednesday night, with kick-off at LA's SoFi Stadium set for 7pm local time (3am UK time).
The United States are already through as Group D winners no matter what happens in this game, thanks to having already claimed wins over Australia and Paraguay and thus rendered themselves impervious to being overhauled by either side on head-to-head record.
By the same token, Turkiye can gobble up all the points they like here, but having lost to the other two sides in the group already, they will still be going home from the tournament with their tailfeathers between their legs.

The USA have made a habit of getting off to fast starts and putting their games beyond reasonable doubt before half time.
Weirdly, both their 4-1 win over Paraguay and their 2-0 win over Australia had the deadlock broken by own-goals - but that was no less than they deserved for a pair of performances featuring plenty of attacking intent in front of the home crowd.
That win over the Socceroos came despite Mauricio Pochettino being unable to call upon star playing Christian Pulisic, who missed out with a calf injury.
The AC Milan forward has been back in training with his teammates in the build-up to this game, though, and will be champing at the bit to get back into the fray ahead of the knockout stage.
Pochettino has the freedom to make changes if he so wishes, though he may need to balance that against the desire to maintain momentum.
For Turkiye, there is nothing but pride on the line after enduring a foul time of it so far thanks to their own paltry efforts.
Vincenzo Montella's side are still yet to break their duck in front of goal after a pair of deeply unconvincing performances in losing 2-0 to Australia and 1-0 to Paraguay, who played with ten men for the entire second half.
Turkiye are going to have to be a lot more clinical, make better use of their wings, and less prone to taking much-too-hopeful potshots on goal if they are to finally find the net.
But we're going to predict that the United States will make short work of carving Turkiye apart and maintaining their 100% record.
