TUI has announced it will restart direct flights to two popular long-haul destinations from Newcastle International Airport. The UK’s largest tour operator announced this week it will resume its long-haul flights to Mexico and the USA.
It follows a two-year pause in operations after the Covid-19 pandemic put flights on hold. Passengers can now choose from flights every Tuesday and Saturday to the popular destination of Cancun on Mexico’s stunning Caribbean coastline, offering convenient 7, 11 or 14 night stays.
Alternatively, if theme parks, golf courses and shopping malls are more appealing, flights to Orlando in Florida operate every Friday this summer plus every other Monday from the North East’s largest Airport.
