Passengers flying from Bristol have become the latest to miss out on their holiday following the mass cancellation of flights all over the UK. The flight, which was flying to Paphos, Cyprus, was due to leave at 1:35pm on Saturday, May 28.
However, eight hours after they were scheduled to depart, passengers received an email saying their flight had been cancelled completely. One passenger said they received their email but there were no TUI staff around to talk to or find out what to do next about their luggage, as all their bags had been checked in hours before.
Multiple people contacted Bristol Live via Facebook and email expressing their anger about the long delays with no complimentary food or water provided, and then having to wait around to have their bags back. Tui has promised all passengers a full refund.
