Travelling is set to become easier for holidaymakers holidaying abroad as the Government lifts remaining restrictions, just in time for easter holidays.
All the remaining border measures will be removed this week, including getting rid of the passenger location form (PLF) and testing requirements and all tests for passengers who do not qualify as vaccinated. This change, which came into force at 4am on Friday, March 18, removes the need for unvaccinated passengers to take a pre-departure test and a day two post-arrival test.
However it is important to remember that holiday destinations may have their own Covid restrictions still in place, therefore it is important to check before you leave. The UK's major holiday operators and airlines are keeping their customers updated with saying with regard to things like masks and rebooking, Wales Online reports.
