The last few weeks have seen the news dominated by travel chaos, as individuals and families report disastrous holidays, cancellations and airport delays. Manchester Airport has been one of the airports blighted by huge queues at security, leading to some families missing their flights.
Other travellers have reported being stuck in foreign countries, as their holiday providers - including TUI - had reportedly overbooked planes. One Doncaster woman was even left in Malaga Airport without any food for her 13-month-old daughter for hours.
Another family, from Barnsley, were removed from their TUI plane, after waiting 48 hours for their flight from Manchester Airport to Greece. The Riley family experienced two days of delays, before eventually being told that their dream holiday to Crete was cancelled.
