If you're heading out across the North East on Tuesday you'll be pleased to hear that it's expected to be a warm and dry day.
According to the Met Office, the region will remain dry throughout the day on July 5, with sunny spells and highs of around 18°C in some parts.
After a bright start with plenty of sunshine, it will turn cloudy mid-morning and throughout the afternoon, before the sun makes a welcome appearance in the early evening. Although those hoping for a baking hot day may be disappointed, it's still good news for anyone planning to spend the day outdoors without needing to pack their umbrella.
