GOING GONE is fancied to show his rivals the way home in the Great Metropolitan Handicap (3.30) at Epsom.
The course and distance winner represents local trainer Jim Boyle and arrives at the track on an upward curve. Last season the Le Havre gelding started out off a mark of 78 in handicaps – and competes in Tuesday's 1m 4f heat from 92.
After scoring at this track in September, he finished sixth at Kempton before regaining the winning thread at Newmarket. He tackles plenty of nice rivals here, but has to be followed given his progressive profile.
