'Dreams come true': Tudhope claims first Aussie medal

Ben Tudhope has overcome a dislocated shoulder to claim Australia's first medal at the Winter Paralympics in Milan-Cortina -- a battling silver in the snowboard cross.

Tudhope revealed that he had injured his right shoulder after winning his men's SB-LL2 quarter-final heat en route to his second-place finish in Sunday's decider in Cortina.

Tudhope trailed the dominant Italian local hero Emanuel Perathoner by 2.14 seconds for silver, which was an upgrade on the bronze he had won at the Beijing Games four years earlier. Lee Jeyhuk, of South Korea, took bronze this time.
