- Tucker Carlson unexpectedly praised Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed , calling his platform "literally Trumpian."
- Carlson denounced Republican candidate Mike Rogers, claiming he would not vote for him "at gunpoint" and stating that he should be far from any position of power.
- Podcaster Saagar Enjeti joined Carlson in highlighting El-Sayed's "America First" messaging, particularly his opposition to foreign military aid in favor of domestic issues like healthcare.
- El-Sayed previously won the Democratic primary against Representative Haley Stevens despite facing millions in opposition spending from AIPAC.
- Both commentators predicted Rogers would lose in November, citing his previous Senate campaign defeat in Michigan even while Donald Trump won the state.
