Tube strike called off: Walkout by drivers avoided following talks between TfL and RMT

Passengers are being reminded that the Tube strike that was set to cause serious disruption to the London Underground from Tuesday (March 24) has been called off.

About 1,800 Tube drivers who belong to the RMT union had been expected to walk out from midday on Tuesday for 24 hours, and again from midday on Thursday.
