Tube passenger hit by train 'couldn’t escape' due to cable tracks

Tube RAIB TfL London Underground The Rail Accident Investigation Branch

A passenger hit by a Tube on the London Underground was unable to escape due to communication cables on the track, an investigation has found.

The Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) report said the passenger had fallen onto the track at Ickenham station in west London, which is on the Uxbridge branch of the Piccadilly and Metropolitan line trains.
