Waterloo Underground station closed for a short time on Wednesday afternoon while police attended to reports of a “suspicious package”.
British Transport Police said Waterloo station was evacuated as a precaution and the package was “deemed to be non-suspicious”.
Transport for London (TfL) have confirmed the station is now re-opened.
Services on the Jubilee line between London Bridge and Green Park were suspended while the rest of the Jubilee line is experiencing severe delays over the “security alert” at the busy London tube station.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Waterloo Underground station at 3.53pm today (15 June) following reports of a suspicious package.
“The station was evacuated as a precaution while officers attended to assess the item.
