The Miami Dolphins are ready to begin their first campaign under new head coach Mike McDaniel, as they’re taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday night.
For the matchup, the Dolphins have listed 17 players as “Not Expected to Play,” including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Joining Tagovailoa on this list are running backs Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert, fullback Alec Ingold, wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, tight end Adam Shaheen, offensive linemen Connor Williams and Terron Armstead, defensive linemen Zach Sieler and Christian Wilkins, defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah, linebackers Melvin Ingram, Jerome Baker and Elandon Roberts, cornerback Xavien Howard and safety Jevon Holland.
Most of these players are veterans who are essentially guaranteed a spot, while some are working back from injury.

After the release, Miami also added fullback John Lovett, offensive tackle Greg Little, cornerback Kader Kohou and safety Sheldrick Redwine to the list.
The Dolphins and Buccaneers will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on local CBS or through streaming.
