TTD to offer Rs 2 lakh insurance to devotees; Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu announces major temple development plans

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam's (TTD) decision to provide insurance coverage to every devotee in partnership with LIC and extend Rs 2 lakh in payout in the event of death during the visit to the temple.

The chief minister held a review meeting with the temple trust personnel and later said the organisation has decided to extend Aadhaar-based online insurance to devotees.
